The purpose of this study was to extract the common blessings of the Garden of
Eden with the Dolat Abad garden. Techniques used in this research are descriptive
– analytical. Data was collected through visiting, field harvesting and library and
comparing them with the quranic interpretations. The results show that the elements

remained some material and spiritual metaphors both in the body of the garden and
its designer believes either objectively or subjectively.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36965</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>Ensan Sura

Thus, studying human being as the base of cognition in this science is inevitable.
That is why it is important to understand the degrees of architecture in relation
to man’s degrees of being.
On the other hand, as definition of man and how he is perceived sometimes greatly
vary, differences in understanding of architecture would also be natural. From this
standpoint, this paper tries to shed light on the nature of mankind based on the teachings
of the Holy Quran and Islamic wisdom as the epistemic system governing the
research. It investigates the relationship resulting from this understanding in relation
with architecture in different degrees. That, in turn, leads to classification of architecture
in proportion to mankind’s ontological structure.
This paper draws the structure of man’s being in three realms of nature, instinct and
Fitrat and in three levels of body, soul and Nafs (self). Then, architecture’s levels are

The issue of Jihad, given its sensitivity and its extensive effects on the political, social,
and cultural developments in Muslim societies, has been the subject of many
analyses which have produced many different views.
Some have considered Jihad as a military measure and likened it to Qital (fighting).
Others, taking a minimal approach, have only taken into account the defensive aspects
of Jihad.
This is while a look into the verses of the Holy Quran and a study of the typology of
different kinds of Jihad in Isla, shows that the concept has always been mentioned
as a general, absolute and soft strategy aiming to establish, secure and maintain the
Islamic style of life, and that the concept has found various manifestations in line
with this goal.
Looking at different types of Jihad the pertaining strategies mentioned in the Quran
indicates that God’s purpose of clarifying this concept is bringing change in man’s
nature and, as a result, changing his worldview and ideology in order to secure the
presence of Muslim individuals and societies on the path of guidance and Tawhid

the first and most basic step for achieving an ideal structural design in any organization
and institution.
For all the efforts made to lead universities to their proper status in our Islamic country
and the issue of Islamization of this holy institution, enough attention has not yet
been paid to drawing a perspective for this institution based on Islamic teachings.
This paper tries to review the key topics in the concept of Islamic university’s perspective,
prominent features of Islamic university, and the criteria of Islamic university’s
perspective. It tries to draw the perspective and proper image of this institutions
based on the analysis of Quranic verses.
This research introduces Islamic university as an institution with three fundamental
characteristics; scientific identity, Islamic direction and religious identity, and usefulness
and service. The paper presents Islamic university’s proper perspective comprising
the criteria of wisdom, competence, goodness and beauty, and clarifies its pattern

On the other hand, lifestyle
and actions and conducts originate from man’s mental and psychological processes
and his style of thinking. The locus of control of man’s character is among
personality traits that significantly affect the way one thinks and behaves.
Research findings show that many of men’s problems and troubles are rooted
in a belief in external control on individuals. But what affects does internal
control have on individuals? Does external control not have any positive effects?
A study of Quranic concepts, especially those related to the issue of determinism
and free will point to the fact that Quranic discourse rules out absolute free
will on the one hand and considers limited effects from external determinism
on individuals, on the other. Hence, Quran’s view of the locus of control is
something in the middle of internal and external control.
<fullTextUrl>http://jiqs.ir/Article/36972</fullTextUrl><keywords><keyword>internal locus of control
